About The Owner
How It All Started
Andrea has always been a dog lover, growing up she never had dog of her own, then as an adult she decided it was time to change that and she adopted two puppies, Hana & Lexi ,both in 2006 and she knew she was hooked. Andrea then enrolled in to a Veterinary Office Assistant program, after graduating she slowly began to pursue her dream of one day owning her own dog daycare by gaining the experience and knowledge of what it takes to run a dog business. After many years working as an employee to other dog businesses, in 2013 she began the journey of opening her own facility called Raise the Woof and the rest is history.
Andrea has been working hard to maintain an enjoyable, safe, clean and comfortable environment for dogs since she opened in 2013. Andrea is attentive and loving to all the dogs that come to her for care to be sure that all of them enjoy their time with her and the staff while at RTW.
The friendly, attentive and caring staff she has also reflects that attitude which makes Raise the Woof stand out among the rest.
Of course as time goes on, eventually we all have to say good-bye to our beloved pets and Andrea gave her last kiss to Lexi in December 2020 and Hana in October 2022. Andrea now has a little chihuahua named Lena (named after Hana & Lexi) that thinks owns the daycare.
